Community Guidelines

CarryParcel works because real people trust each other with real parcels. These guidelines keep that trust intact.

1. Our guiding principle

Every delivery on CarryParcel involves two real people trusting each other — a sender trusting a stranger with their parcel, and a traveler trusting that the parcel is exactly what it's described to be. These guidelines exist to protect that trust.

2. What we expect from senders

  • Describe your parcel honestly — category, size, weight, and anything a traveler should know before accepting it.
  • Have your parcel ready and properly packaged at the agreed pickup time and location.
  • Communicate promptly and respectfully with the traveler carrying your parcel.
  • Confirm delivery with the OTP only once you've actually received your parcel.

3. What we expect from travelers

  • Only accept parcels you can genuinely deliver within the timeframe you commit to.
  • Handle every parcel with the same care you'd want for your own belongings.
  • Never open, inspect beyond what's needed for safety, or misuse a parcel's contents.
  • Communicate proactively if a trip is delayed or a delivery can't be completed as planned.

4. Respectful communication

All messages exchanged through CarryParcel's in-app chat should stay professional and courteous. We do not tolerate:

  • Harassment, threats, or abusive language directed at another user.
  • Discrimination based on race, gender, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Requests to move payment or communication outside the platform to avoid our safety and dispute systems.

5. Honesty & accuracy

  • Use your real name and a genuine photo on your profile.
  • Keep your trip routes, availability, and parcel details accurate and up to date.
  • Don't create multiple accounts to get around a suspension or rating.

6. Ratings & feedback

After every completed delivery, senders and travelers can rate each other. Ratings should reflect the actual experience — please don't leave retaliatory or false reviews. Patterns of consistently low ratings may trigger a review of an account by our trust & safety team.

7. Reporting a concern

If another user makes you uncomfortable, misrepresents a parcel, or behaves in a way that violates these guidelines, report it directly from the parcel or trip screen, or contact Support. Reports are reviewed confidentially, and we do not disclose who filed a report to the person it concerns.

8. Consequences of violating these guidelines

  • First-time, minor issues: a warning and guidance on the expected behavior.
  • Repeated or moderate violations: temporary suspension from posting parcels or accepting trips.
  • Severe violations (safety threats, fraud, prohibited items, harassment): permanent removal from CarryParcel, and where relevant, a report to law enforcement.

9. Appeals

If you believe an enforcement action was made in error, you can appeal through the Support Center within 14 days. Include any context or evidence relevant to your case — our team reviews every appeal individually.
